What is Little Kindy?

At The Oaks Public School, we’re proud to offer Our Little Kindy Program - a supportive and engaging 6-week transition program designed to help preschool children get ready for school at The Oaks.

Running across Terms 2 and 3, this program gently introduces your child to the school environment, helping them build confidence, make new friends, and become familiar with routines, classrooms, and staff.

Session Highlights

Our sessions are packed with fun and interactive activities that promote social skills, emotional readiness, and early learning concepts.

Exploration Activities
Themed activities that encourage curiosity and creativity through art, storytelling and imaginative.
Group Activities
Through collaborative games, children will practise the skills for teamwork, communication and building friendships in a supportive environment.
Storytime and Music
Engaging stories and songs to enhance language development and make learning enjoyable and interactive.
School Familiarity
Our dedicated educators will support each child as they gain confidence and familiarity with their new school environment. Through school tours, classroom visits and building rapport between children, parents and our school.
