Bell times

Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and lunch. Understanding the bell times helps students get the most out of each part of the day.

It's important for students to arrive on time each day. If your child is running late, please contact the front office.

Playground Supervision

Teacher supervision at The Oaks Primary School begins at 9:00 am each morning. For safety reasons, parents are kindly asked not to drop their child off before this time. If before or after-school care is needed, please contact our Before and After School Care team for further details and arrangements.

Assemblies

Assemblies are held regularly throughout each term to bring our school community together and foster a strong sense of belonging. They provide valuable opportunities to share important information, celebrate achievements, and acknowledge the efforts of our students. Parents and carers are warmly invited to attend, joining with students in this whole-school activity. Assemblies also provide a platform for our student leaders and class representatives to demonstrate and further develop their leadership skills, while building confidence in public speaking. Through these experiences, all students are supported to develop positive habits of behaviour, effective listening skills, self-discipline, and confidence when presenting to an audience. Please see our school calendar for details about upcoming assemblies.
