Read More:
We encourage all students to engage in sports and physical activities as part of our strong culture centred around physical health and well-being. We believe in the importance of fostering a love for physical activity, which not only contributes to students' fitness but also promotes teamwork, resilience, and a healthy lifestyle.
Our school actively participates in the PSSA (Primary Schools Sports Association) competitions, providing students with the opportunity to compete at various levels. We support and nurture students' sporting talents by offering pathways for continued participation, whether through representative teams, training sessions, or local competitions.
Through our sports programs, students are encouraged to develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the camaraderie that comes from participating in team and individual sports. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every student can thrive and discover their potential in the realm of physical activity.

At Oaks Public School, students have the opportunity to explore and develop their artistic talents through a variety of clubs and workshops focused on visual arts, music, drama, and dance. Our programs include a school band, dance group, choir, drumming ensemble, drama club, and numerous arts-focused clubs. Participation in these activities not only allows students to showcase their creativity but also helps them build confidence through performance.
We celebrate our students' artistic achievements through annual events such as the Wollondilly Arts Performance Festival, Camden Show, school concerts, and open days. These events provide a platform for students to present their work to the community, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment in their artistic endeavours.

At Oaks Public School, we offer over 15 different clubs that cater to a wide range of interests and passions. These clubs may run before, during, or after school, depending on the specific needs of each group. Our dedicated staff also contribute their time and expertise by creating lunch clubs centred around their personal passions, providing students with additional opportunities to continue their learning and develop their talent in a fun and engaging environment.
Our clubs are designed to encourage friendships and foster a sense of community among students, allowing them to explore new interests, develop skills, and build lasting connections with their peers. We believe that participation in these clubs enriches the overall educational experience and supports students' personal growth.
